Mining sites in Nigeria, West Africa, have long been troubled by difficult fuel transportation conditions. The local tropical climate is persistently humid, and most mining zones are located in remote areas with rough dirt roads, dusty air and corrosive soil environments. Ordinary fuel tank trailers are not fit for such harsh working conditions. They tend to suffer from body rust, oil leaks and structural damage after short-term use, requiring frequent repairs.
