This article shares a real export project of customized flat semi trailers, serving general freight and logistics enterprises throughout Southeast Asia. Driven by continuous infrastructure upgrading and thriving cross-border trade, the regional logistics industry has expanded rapidly in recent years. Unlike the well-paved road conditions in Western countries, most Southeast Asian regions have complicated road conditions, coupled with diversified freight demands and tight operational budgets. For this reason, local logistics fleets have long been looking for durable, multi-functional and budget-friendly flat trailers to cope with daily general cargo transportation work.
To match local actual operating needs, we optimized the design of 40-foot three-axle flat semi trailers for this batch of exports. Adopting premium S355 high-strength steel and reinforced I-beam main beams, the trailers boast a stable load range of 25 to 40 tons, capable of carrying containers, steel products, construction materials and various bulk general goods. The improved suspension and damping system adapts perfectly to local bumpy rural and suburban roads, effectively reducing cargo jolting and transit losses. Equipped with standard container twist locks and multiple binding positions, the trailers support flexible cargo placement and fixation, greatly improving the daily delivery efficiency of local logistics firms.
All trailers are manufactured in full compliance with ASEAN traffic safety norms and local industry criteria. We adopted standardized container packaging and efficient sea freight arrangements to ensure on-time and safe delivery. After being put into use in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, these flat trailers have gained great recognition among local clients. These trailers remedy many practical flaws of conventional trailer models, such as limited usage scenarios and poor performance on complex road conditions, helping local logistics operators slash routine operational and upkeep expenses. Having delivered stable and practical equipment for local freight demands, this export project has proven that tailor-made flat semi trailers are highly suitable for Southeast Asia’s unique logistics environment.
