This project aims to establish a practical and high-efficiency cross-border general cargo transport system based on major logistics parks across Central Asia. It takes flat semi-trailers as the main transport vehicle to cater to the fast-growing freight trade between China and Central Asian nations. With regional infrastructure steadily improved and bilateral trade activities becoming more frequent in recent years, cross-border logistics still faces prominent problems in transporting scattered general goods, large-size materials and various industrial supplies. This project is precisely launched to solve these practical industry pain points.
The flat semi-trailers adopted in the project come with solid load-bearing capacity and outstanding durability. Their open-frame design and reasonable multi-axle pressure distribution allow the vehicles to adapt well to the complicated road conditions and local traffic load standards in Central Asian regions. Such design enables flexible loading and unloading for a wide range of goods, covering steel products, mechanical accessories, containerized cargos and packaged bulk goods. Compared with conventional enclosed vehicles, this transport mode can significantly boost overall logistics operation efficiency.
By leveraging the warehousing, distribution and transit advantages of local logistics parks, the project delivers one-stop services including cargo consolidation, unified shipment and cross-border door-to-door delivery. It helps enterprises effectively reduce comprehensive logistics expenses and standardize the general cargo transport process in the region, making cross-border freight more stable and punctual. In addition, the project optimizes the local logistics vehicle fleet layout, provides solid support for regional infrastructure development and trade expansion, and further strengthens the core position of Central Asian logistics parks in China-Central Asia logistics channels. It also plays a positive role in promoting long-term and stable economic and trade exchanges between the two sides
